It has been 10 years since I first stepped onto a pageant stage, 8 years since I became Miss Filipinas and lived a dream I worked so hard for outside the pageant world. Then I took a step back and embraced the most beautiful role of my life.. becoming a mother. I embraced it fully but deep down I still had my what ifs.. Who would’ve thought that this door would open again? For a mother, for a woman at this stage in life.. But when it did,I felt it. I had to take it.. because I am more than ready - I am WHOLE. I attended Muntinlupa's flag ceremony yesterday, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all Muntinlupeños for the warm welcome. Thank you to Mayor Ruffy Biazon, City Council led by Majority Leader Raul Corro, City Administrator Engr. Allan Cachuela, and all the departments present. Your support.. even before my official announcement to join MUPH, has been overwhelming, and I truly appreciate your patience and excitement leading up to this moment. A special thank you to the people who have been essential in this journey: First Lady Trina Biazon for always being there for me and my team and being so hands on with all my preparations, my “mommy” in Muntinlupa Tita Tez Navarro, Sarah Bendana and TCAD staff Reggie Salonga and GAD staffs, Malu Ampaya and Mayors office staffs.
