For this clean, I used a recycled glass block, which is similar to pumice stone, just slightly more durable. Pumice stone has been used in the stone polishing process for hundreds, if not thousands of years. This methodology is valuable to use on granite stones when a quick transformation is the desired result. #gravestonecleaning

A kind gentlemen reached out to me recently and asked for my help. Well into his 80s now, he wants to make sure his daughter has nothing much to worry about when his time comes to leave this earth. Nothing else happens before that final shot other than time passing. I waited 9 months for this one. Frances Horsley Brown was a daughter to Edmund and Lucy Gwatkin Horsley. She married John Calloway Brown in December 1883. Sadly, he passed away of typhoid fever in 1903 only two days after being elected to the Virginia senate. Two sons were born to the couple: Granville passed away as an infant in July 1891, and John became a lawyer and a justice of the court in Bedford, Virginia. Fannie resided with her widowed sister Edmonia for the last 20 years of her life until she passed away from stroke complications. #gravestonecleaning #beforeandafter
