Tomcats will prey on newborn kittens so mom will come back in heat faster. This Tom had been coming around when she started to labor. He then decided to come in her home after she had the babies, he walked passed the food and was looking for the newborns. I’m so glad I keep a Ring doorbell in her box or I wouldn’t have known and wouldn’t have been able to protect her. I know that moms will protect their young, but she’s my baby so I would run out everytime I seen she was distressed on the camera.
