I started my postpartum weight loss journey 4 years ago.and let me tell you it has been a journey! I have always been into fitness ever since I was in my 20s. A lot of life happened since I had kids, I struggled with post partum depression with my first. I had medical emergencies when delivering both my girls. Covid and tiktok happened and about overnight my postpartum weight loss journey was all over the internet when I would eat: bell peppers, cream cheese and everything bagel seasoning. I’m forever grateful for the opportunities tiktok has opened for me but I’ve gone through a lot of ups and downs on the Internet. About a year ago I started going to therapy and working on my mental health. To make a long story short after losing 50lbs since I had my second daughter (when I only gained 15 when I was pregnant with her) this is my body. And lately I’ve been feeling insecure about the skin on my stomach but I wnat to share that just because I look fit or toned from the front view or when I flex my body also looks somewhat of a shar pei puppy from some angles. And if you are seeing influencers online and you’re comparing your body to theirs just remember they probably look just like I do from some angles. #selflove #bodypositivity #Fitness #postpartum #postpartumbody
