There were crowds of people but honestly, it didn’t detract from the experience. It was such a beautiful sunrise and the Taj Mahal is JUST AS GOOD in person as it looks in pictures. One of my favourite wonders of the world for sure and if you’re into photography you’ll really enjoy all the vantage points the city of Agra has. 6 wonders complete, 1 more to go 🇨🇳 #whatheck #travel #tajmahal
The Holi Festival in India was overall a really fun experience but it still has its less favourable moments. If I were a woman, I’m not sure I’d feel comfortable celebrating Holi in Pushkar. It only takes a few bad actors to ruin the experience, and unfortunately, I witnessed multiple instances of harassment toward both local and foreign women. I managed to capture two incidents on video, but trust me when I say there were many more. Overall I had a great time at Holi but I thought I’d post this to inform you that it’s not always a vibrant experience. #whatheck #holi
Is this not the most stunning library you’ve ever seen? China donated $54 million to build this architectural masterpiece in the heart of San Salvador. Standing 7 stories tall, El Salvador’s new National Library really does symbolise the path and future that the country is moving towards. I personally love that you can’t play video games until you’re done 30 mins of reading 😂 #whatheck #travel #elsalvador
After traveling to 87 countries El Salvador is at the TOP of my list for being the most authentic and genuine I’ve ever been to. It might not be like this forever so if I was you I’d visit soon 🙏🏼 #whatheck #travel #elsalvador
Happy Holi from Pushkar, India 🎨 I decided to start my India trip with their most iconic festival and it was a BLAST. The colours and vibrance of the festival is something to behold and I would go again but maybe to a less touristy location as this event turned into a mega rave which isn’t exactly my vibe. I can confirm it’s safe for a white male (what’s new haha) but if you’re a female you might want to think twice before coming to Pushkar for Holi. But I’ll talk about that in another video 🙃 #whatheck #travel #india
After 10 years and 87 countries I can FINALLY say I have travelled to the most populated country on earth ✈️ Who’s ready for an epic few weeks? I’ve heard many mixed reviews from this country so wish me luck 😅 #whatheck #travel
Did you know India has a RAT TEMPLE 🐀 Karni Mata Temple is famous for hosting over 25,000 rats within its temple grounds. The locals are known to worship the rats because they believe they are ancestors from the past, reincarnated. I try to respect all faith based beliefs but one is a real struggle for me to understand. The smell was on another level and yes, they make you take off your shoes while inside. Travel never fails to remind me that everyone lives different lives, that’s for sure 😆 #whatheck #travel
Only in the streets of Delhi, India 😂 We found a street vendor selling a flaming leaf snack so I thought I’d give it a go 🔥🍃 It was hot but also refreshing which was a surprise. #whatheck #travel
El Salvador went from the murder capital of the world to the safest country in the western hemisphere within a period of 10 years 🤯 That’s right…El Salvador is now considered safer than Canada which is something the world would have considered impossible 5 years ago. What do you think about Bukeles strong hand on the situation? #whatheck #travel #elsalvador
Indian street food gets a LOT of heat on social media but it’s some of the BEST street food I’ve tasted! Now I’m not a foodie but here are 3 things that I think everyone should try ONCE in their life 🇮🇳 1. Omelette Sandwich in Jodhpur 2. Gulab Jamin (from anywhere on the street) 3. Aloo Tikki (potato patties) #whatheck #travel #notafoodie #food #india
Country 89 here I come!!! Just when you thought things would get less chaotic after India we have decided to match the energy with a neighbouring country. The only difference is that this country rarely gets tourists so I’m excited to see what it’s all about! #whatheck #travel
India is polarising to say the least but I think it’s being misrepresented on social media. You would never go to Thailand, Cambodia or Vietnam and mock the local street vendors as they serve you food so why has it become acceptable here in India? Documenting your experience is fine but I find that creators are going out of their way to be disrespectful to the likely, uneducated street vendor that is trying to make a living. No one would do this in any other country so it’s pretty crazy that everyone lets it happen in India. Anyway that’s just my thoughts, what do you think? #whatheck #travel
El Salvador was the first country in the world to use bitcoin as legal tender and considering the current price of bitcoin, it seems that their gamble has paid off. Many locations didn’t have Mastercard or Visa due to the fees but allowed bitcoin which was fascinating to see. Will bitcoin become the new Visa? 👀 #whatheck #travel #bitcoin
How cool is this apartment? Plus for $100 per night this might be the best accomodation in India! 🇮🇳 📍Lalluji Luxe Homestay, Jaipur #whatheck #travel #india
