Revealing how I make my colourful shirt plackets😆! (I can’t be the only one who keeps coming across characters with shirts like this🤔!) This is my submission for the cosplayturorialchallenge contest! This is my first time participating and I really wanted to create a tutorial for something that could be applied to different cosplays rather for one specific character. I originally came up with this idea when I did an Alastor costest years ago…but my friends hyped me up enough to make a full tutorial for it after seeing my Chiaki placket because they hadn’t seen someone do that before and were really surprised 😆 (and now I have a nicer placket for her after making this one for the tutorial, so yay!) In theory you can definitely do an even easier method of this with long strips of felt or something similar, if you don’t have access to a sewing machine ☺️! I chose to use fabric because I think it give the illusion of being part of the shirt more.
