For the past few days since I shared my journey with plastic surgery in Korea, I've been getting comments saying I hate myself or am ungrateful for what God gave me, even quoting Bible verses. Here’s the thing: cisgender people may never fully understand the trans experience, and honestly, I don’t expect you to. Some of you have religious biases that cloud your judgment. For us trans folks, surgeries like these aren't for validation or approval – they're for survival. In a world that too often isolates, judges, or even harms us, these surgeries are life-changing and, for many, life-saving. I’m grateful and blessed to have this opportunity to live authentically. If you keep leaving hate, it only shows your lack of understanding. To my trans sisters: this journey is for us, and we deserve to thrive. All love. Stay tuned for more episodes of my journey. 🏳️⚧️✨🤍 #fyp #plasticsurgery #korea #foryou
Plastic surgery is essential for many of us as trans people, not out of vanity but to align our appearance with our identity in a world that constantly scrutinizes us. Being "clockable" means facing invasive judgment daily, and surgery helps alleviate that pressure, allowing us to live more authentically. Stigmatizing our choices ignores the emotional toll we face and undermines our right to self-determination. Cisgender people don’t fully understand this struggle because society is built for them. Their gender is affirmed everywhere they go, while we’re forced to navigate a world that wasn’t designed for us. Plastic surgery isn’t about conforming; it’s about surviving and being seen for who we truly are. #fyp #plasticsurgery #korea
