That doesn’t mean you should only eat a lettuce wrap and a handful of ice cubes though… People take things to the extreme and that helps no one. Eat high protein, high fiber, and limit your favorite foods to a couple times a week. Chewing your food and spitting it out just for the taste is NOT normal! It’s a sign that your diet is too restrictive and it may help in the short term, but it’ll lead to destructive behavior.
