Something I will never ever stop talking about. Hyperemesis gravidarum pushed me completely, physically, emotionally, and mentally. But I made it through. Every tear, every hospital visit, every moment I felt like I couldn’t go on just showed me how strong we really are. The pain and the fear hasn’t disappeared but it all feels lighter now I have him in my arms everyday. Im still processing and I am SO scared to be pregnant again but I’ve come out the other side with so much love, gratitude, and strength I didn’t know I had To anyone going through HG, I see you. It’s not “just morning sickness”. it can feel like your body is failing you, like you’re disappearing inside your own life. I know how lonely it is when people don’t understand when you can’t eat, can’t function, and can barely explain how bad it really is. Surround yourself with people who believe you and support you. Let go of any guilt about what your pregnancy “should” look like. Cry when you need to. Celebrate the small wins, even if it’s just keeping a sip of water down. even if it doesn’t feel like it now, it will go away. You are not alone. You are not weak. You are unbelievably strong and you’re not alone. you’re surviving something so incredibly hard. It’s okay if all you did today was get through the day. That’s enough.
