This past weekend marks 15 years since the night that changed not only my life forever but 4 other peoples life. It’s my LIFE DAY, a day to celebrate survival, resilience, and growth. 🙏🏼 I first heard the words LIFE DAY from the push girls & that changed my feelings on this day since then. I am filled with gratitude for the incredible journey I’ve been on, the strength I’ve found, and the amazing community that surrounds me. I am blessed to be where I am today & tbh wouldn’t change it. I embrace every challenge and triumph with open arms. I’m thankful for everyone I have met on this journey, my husband, my family & my daughter, my friends & my company. Yet, I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions. There’s a part of me that mourns the 17-year-old girl who faced an unimaginable change. I feel a slight bit of fear for what the future holds physically, but I know that with love, my family, support, and determination, I can face anything that comes my way. Here’s to honoring the past, cherishing the present, and rolling into the future. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my journey.
