Our family made a glowing moon float on a lake for a photo! 🌙 #CanonPartner Months of planning and weeks of building the moon came down to just 30 minutes of capturing it all 😳. To say this build would make us question our life choices along the way is an understatement, but now we have a fun moon chair for our living room 😅. We really only had one chance to capture this photo because we had to assemble the moon, barrels and floating platform together on location. I captured the photo in-camera using the @canonusa EOS R5 Mark II! Is fangirling over a camera a thing? Because if so, that’s me. It’s a game changer in low-light conditions, allowing me to crank my ISO further than I normally would, which gave me those crucial extra minutes needed to capture the moment 📸: Canon EOS R5 Mark II and RF50mm F1.2 L lens: f/2.8, 1/250 sec, and 3200 ISO #CanonCreator #fyp #photomagic #behindthescenes
#ad We made a magic portal inspired by the pink portals in the new Infinity Nikki game ✨ #InfinityNikkiPartner 💕 The foam for the portal wasn’t as sturdy as we had hoped and fell apart on us a few times, but we still managed to glue it back together and capture the photo 😅. Our daughter, Emma, posed like a statue, while her dad handled the lighting, and I captured it all. Infinity Nikki is a magical game! It’s an open world adventure game with magic around every corner, beautiful places to explore, and lots of dress-up. How our family made a glowing moon float on a lake for a photo! #CanonPartner 🌙 Months of planning and weeks of building this moon came down to just 30 minutes of capturing it all. During the build, I even ended up on crutches for a bit. After attaching all of the LED lights to the moon one night, Nick and I were doing a celebratory moonlight dance and I twisted my knee. I immediately felt my knee pop and fell right over 😳. Don’t worry, you can laugh, I laugh about it too 😅. I captured the photo in-camera using the @canonusa EOS R5 Mark II and RF50mm F1.2 L USM lens. This powerhouse duo makes me feel like I’m holding a magic wand every time I use them together 🪄📸: f/2.8, 1/250 sec, and 3200 ISO #CanonCreator #fyp #photomagic #behindthescenes
Our family made a spooky pumpkin car for a photo! 🎃 #CanonPartner we conjured up a little Halloween magic and transformed our magical carriage that we made over summer into a spooky pumpkin car for our two little foxes 🦊. Oliver drove through the haunted forest (also known as our driveway) while Eloise held on for dear life, and I captured the moment with the new @canonusa EOS R5 Mark II! This camera feels like a magic wand when it comes to capturing low-light conditions with little to no noise. It’s a dream camera and the cinematic quality right out of camera made me feel like I was casting a spell 🧙♀️🪄📸: Canon EOS R5 Mark II and RF50mm F1.2 L lens: f/2, 1/250 sec, ISO 1250 #CanonCreator #EOSR5MarkII #fyp #photomagic #behindthescenes #halloween #spookyseason
Our family recreated the graveyard scene from the original Beetlejuice! 🪲 this photo was a labor of love to say the least and there were many learning curves along the way, including a windy storm on the day of the photoshoot 😅. It took weeks to plan and create the rolling set. We really wanted to capture a real life moment inspired by the original Beetlejuice movie, which meant all practical effects! From the tree, to the sign, to the foam grass shown in the model town, we made a practical photo set that could move around our entire yard (which will be great for future photos too). Oliver had so much fun playing Beetlejuice, and we are all going to be Beetlejuice characters for Halloween now 😂. We’ll sharing a longer video soon showing how we made each prop. Hope you enjoy this as much as we had fun making it! 🪲🧃#beetlejuice #halloween #spookyseason #photomagic #fyp
#ad Our family made a magical moving train car for a photo 😳 and then all three of our kids went on a holiday adventure! 🚂 #AdobePhotoshopPartner Emma and Oliver snuck their little sis, Eloise, onto the train with the help of their magical suitcase. Hopefully the conductor doesn’t find them 👀 For this photo, Nick repurposed one of our old photo sets and turned it into a moving train car! The kids helped me with the wallpaper, then we added details like the train benches, sconces, and a rug to bring it all together. After battling the weather for nearly a week, we finally finished the train car and used lighting, a snow machine, and our imaginations to bring this scene to life! After I captured the photo, I took it into @Photoshop and added some final touches, like the landscape behind the snow in the window and a magical spell coming from Oliver’s wand. What would you do with a magic suitcase? 🧳🪄 #MomsofTikTok #photomagic #behindthescenes #fyp
