Layovers can be a hoot! We took advantage of our 18 hour stop in Honolulu. We stayed in an authentic Hawaiian motel owned by locals. Woke up to a traditional loco moco breakfast. Then took a dip in the central Pacific Ocean. This was all while on the way to Japan. Life is wild and life is good! - Disclaimer: Hawaii is colonized by the U.S. We went due to a layover.
