I am still learning and trying my best to fully understand what is happening, and my heart has been hurting for a while now. I don't speak much about politics, but again, I am trying to stay as informed as possible. As a first gen latina who comes from an immigrant family, it has made a difference and a huge impact and I've seen how positively impactful it has been to others in our community. Reposting, and bringing awareness with the intent that it can be helpful. I also seen that you can print out a "red card" for immigration from home which is a tool to keep around for you and your family to know your rights if you are stopped by ICE. Things just get scarier, and it's all in my prayers. I do not ever want to say the wrong things, please understand that I am scared too.

Prioritize Mental Health: Incorporate mindfulness practices like your faith or journaling. Taking care of your mind is just as important as your body. 6. Stay Consistent: Consistency is key! Aim for regular workouts and balanced meals, even if progress feels slow at first, it’s important to stick to your routine and pick back up from where you left off. Don’t be hard on yourself. We tend to glorify constant hustle and productivity, so it's also easy to feel guilty for stepping back and taking a vacation or break.
