Christmas Pull Apart Garlic Buns 🎄🎅🏽☃️💚❤️🧄🧈🍞 Recipe~ - 26g melted butter - 30g honey - 130g warm milk - 200g warm water - 510g all prupose flour - 12g salt - 5g garlic seasoning or garlic powder - 7g yeast Garlic Butter ~ - 2 tbsp butter - garlic cloves, minced - fresh basil & herbs - grated parmesan to top ~ 1. In a bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients. In a small bowl or measuring cup, combine all of the wet ingredients and whisk until smooth; (water, milk, melted butter, and honey). 2. Kneed the wet and dry ingredients tofether until fully combined. The dough will be mostly sticky, but cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour. 3. After rising, dump onto the counter and kneed until very smooth and firm. The dough should stick to yoy anymore. After kneeding dor about 6 - 8 mins, place back into the bowl and rise for another 1.5 hours. 4. Dump the dough onto your counter and seperate into 16 even pieces. Roll into smooth tight balls and areange into a Christmas Tree shape. Cover and let it rise for 40 mins while preheating your oven to 375F. 5. Before baking, brush with milk. Bake for 12 - 15 minutes or until golden tops. Salted Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies 🍪🎅🏽🎄☃️ Makes 6 - 10 Cookies Recipe ~ ½ cup salted butter, browned & cooled back to room temp so the texture is like regular softened butter ½ cup brown sugar ⅓ cup + 1 tbsp granulated sugar 1 egg 2 tbsp heavy cream (divided) 2 tsp vanilla extract 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 1 cup + 3 tbsp all purpose flour 1 ⅓ - ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips, mini In a small pot, melt your butter and keep on a simmer until it turns a golden brown. Take it off the heat and whisk in a tablespoon of heavy cream. It will bubble a lot and very high so do this in a taller pot (lol). After this, let it cool to room temperature, pour into the bowl you will be using and refrigerate until it becomes the texture of soft butter. Whip your softened butter with both sugars. Add in vanilla extract and the other tablespoon of heavy cream. Add in egg, whisk until fluffy and thick. Toss in the baking soda and salt, making sure it’s fully combined. Fold in your flour just until combined, it’s ok if there’s some flour not fully incorporated, it’ll be mixed in when you add the chocolate chips, since you don’t want to overmix. Add in the chocolate chips. Rest on the counter for 30 - 40 mins. Preheat oven to 360F. Place 6 - 12 cookies on a cookie pan lined with parchment paper, careful not to place them too close. Bake for 4 minutes. Keep the cookies in the oven, and reduce heat to 350F. Set a timer for 7 - 8 mins. Take out of the oven and let it cool for about 15 minutes before eating.
