Even the best behaved, perfect recall dog, when terrified of loud noises will not know what to do or where to go if they get out during the fireworks. ⁣ ⁣ Tips for surviving the 4th 🧨 ⁣ ⁣ - Put pets in an interior room with a TV on or music up to drown out the noise ⁣ - GET THEM DR*GS (if you haven’t already, your vet won’t be there to get you in on the 4th so call now!)⁣ - If the party is happening at your house, do the above but ALSO make sure your pets microchip information is REGISTERED and UP TO DATE in the event a kid or grandparents wanders into the wrong room and lets them out while the front door happens to be propped open (it happens, trust me). A GPS collar or even a AppleTag on the collar is also a great resource for if they do get away!⁣ ⁣ And remember, July 4th fireworks usually start a day or two before, and will for SURE last the weekend, so be prepared for multiple days of chaos and celebrate wisely. 🫠 @wearfigs #figsambassador #psa #veterinarian
