When designing the Y-String we wanted to create the most comfortable string underwear so we made the gusset wider to prevent slips/front wedges and put a Y-shape fabric design in the back to prevent and string chafing or irritation- the string only starts near your tailbone to keep that minimal line look. Plus, it’s made out of cotton with no annoying tag- ours is screen printed on. We worked on this design for over 6 months with multiple sample tests and fittings. My wife inspired me to create these boxers after she struggled with wearing mine comfortably during her period. She loved wearing/stealing my boxers, but when it was that time of the month, the pad would shift around and it just wasn’t secure or comfy. So, I set out to design the ultimate everyday boxer! These boxers can hold even the largest pads securely, and the flap is made of 100% cotton, so it’s super comfy—even when you’re not using a pad, you won’t even notice it’s there.
