Lyra, the Alchemist’s Daughter ⚗️ After a decades long quest, an alchemist finds the Philosopher’s Egg. He cares for it reverently, heating it over the hearth and anointing it with various potions. Finally from the egg a Rebis is born, the alchemist’s greatest work; Lyra. Her father tells her that her mother was an Ouroboros, though she thinks he’s just telling one of his fanciful stories again. Lyra’s bedroom is at the top of a tower where she likes to paint and play her harpsichord. Her father has passed down his knowledge of magic to her, and her potions and charms are highly sought after. Even the ladies at court will meet her in the shadows of the castle halls to buy her wares, despite being frightened of her appearance.
